Our Mission
Mare & Foal was created to connect the UK equine breeding community, making it easier to find foster mares for foals in need. We believe that by working together, breeders can ensure better outcomes for orphan foals and mares who have lost their own.
The Problem We Solve
When a foal is orphaned or a mare loses her foal (DNS - Did not survive scenarios), finding a suitable foster mare quickly is crucial. Traditionally, this has relied on personal networks and word-of-mouth, which can be limited and time-consuming.
Mare & Foal addresses this by providing a dedicated platform where breeders can register their horse, search for compatible matches based on location and breed, and receive timely notifications when opportunities arise.
